Business intelligence service The Deal has named White & Case partners Denise A. Cerasani (New York), Germaine Nicole Gurr (New York) and Tali Sealman (Silicon Valley) among its "Top Women in Dealmaking" honorees for work performed in 2021. All three are partners in the White & Case Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice.

Top Women in Dealmaking recognizes US-based women partners "who have displayed excellence in their respective legal fields including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructuring and activist investing," according to The Deal.

Cerasani leads the Firm's M&A Financial Advisory practice. Her practice focuses on securities, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. She has counseled and represented clients in a variety of industries and has developed a niche practice devoted to White & Case's investment banking clients.

Gurr advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, securities offerings, capital raising opportunities, joint venture and commercial transactions, and general corporate matters. She also regularly advises global companies on legal and business considerations in corporate and commercial transactions, operational structuring and management, and compliance and governance matters.

Sealman works closely with companies as well as strategic and financial buyers and growth equity investors across a full spectrum of transactions in the technology and life science sectors, including strategic acquisitions, cross-border merger and acquisitions, Israeli-related transactions, unsolicited transactions, growth equity investments and other game-changing transactions. Sealman also serves as corporate counsel and a trusted advisor for tech and life science companies on a regular basis.
