The use of legal tech tools and AI-supported programs in civil justice is seen as an important step toward a modern and efficient constitutional state. The judiciary can benefit from increased efficiency, particularly in mass proceedings, but this must not come at the expense of constitutionally guaranteed procedural rights. The potential of AI could change the self-image of judicial activity, as AI is not only a technical aid but also an independent instrument that can influence decision-making processes. Therefore, the role of the judge in the digital age must be redefined without delegating judicial responsibility.
