"In order to more completely service the needs of the senior executives of our corporate and private equity clients, including the family offices of these executives, we are adding to our critical mass of senior, experienced private wealth management lawyers," said John Reiss, Global Head of White & Case's M&A Practice.
Lacaria advises family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families of multigenerational wealth, and individual and corporate fiduciaries on a wide range of trust and estate matters, including business succession, philanthropy and complex trust and estate administration. He often works with founders, family-led businesses and entrepreneurs, and has extensive experience advising private equity and hedge fund principals on tax structuring of fund interests and other complex assets.
"Investing further in our Private Wealth & Family Offices Group is integral to our corporate capabilities, as growth in client demand in this sector continues apace," said Sang I. "Family offices continue to play a growing role in global capital flows, and we expect this upward trajectory to only continue. Chris’s experience means he is well positioned to help us take further advantage of this market growth, and his arrival fortifies our positon as a go-to Firm for our private investor clients."
