Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Capital Markets Practice with the addition of Drew Valentine as a partner in New York.

"The expansion of our Capital Markets Practice is a strategic priority for the Firm," said White & Case Chair, Heather McDevitt. "Corporate clients continue to look to us to assist on complex securities issuances. Drew brings strong experience advising underwriters and issuers on a wide range of equity and debt offerings, deepening our capital markets bench in the US."

Valentine advises on complex corporate finance and equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings and convertible notes offerings, with a particular focus on the semiconductors, quantum computing, retail and life sciences sectors.

"The growing complexity of capital markets transactions continues to drive strong client demand for our team's diverse skillset and capabilities," said John Vetterli, Co-Head of White & Case's Global Capital Markets Practice. "As we continue to scale our Practice, Drew's arrival further strengthens our ability to capture additional market share in this strategically important and active space."

Valentine is the 17th lateral partner to join one of White & Case's US offices this year, marking the Firm's focus on strategic growth in the US market. His arrival follows other high-profile joiners, including Antitrust partner Rahul Rao; Litigation partners Jonathan Polkes, Stacy Nettleton and Adam Banks; M&A partners Richard Brand, Kiran Kadekar, Jaye Kasper and Erica Hogan; and White Collar partner Brent Wible.
