Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Project Development and Finance Practice and Global Energy Industry Group with the addition of John Donaleski as a partner in New York.
"The renewable energy and infrastructure sectors in the United States are experiencing a rapid increase in investments, with deals continuing to grow in size and complexity," said Jason Kerr, Head of White & Case's Global Project Development and Finance Practice. "The addition of John, who brings exceptional experience advising financial institutions and investors on the full spectrum of assets in the renewables market, will allow our practice to further keep pace with the energy sector as it continues to transition."
John's practice spans the spectrum of energy and infrastructure matters, with a particular focus on advising financial institutions on complex renewables and energy transition assets, including solar, wind, battery storage and geothermal, conventional power, digital infrastructure and oil & gas. He also brings strong experience advising on a broad range of debt financing structures involving single-assets and multi-asset portfolios.
"The global acceleration of energy transition has led to a steady increase in demand for the Firm's market-leading renewables capabilities," said Eric Leicht, a member of White & Case's Executive Committee. "As we continue to build out our bench to match the key priorities of our clients, John's arrival follows a number of lateral additions to our Global Energy Industry Group, including Nadav Klugman, who joined the Firm's Chicago office, and Hayden Baker and Jeffrey Davis, who each joined the Firm's New York and Washington, DC offices."
