White & Case advises Amplifon on €1.8 billion financing to support GN Hearing acquisition

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised global hearing solutions and services leader Amplifon on a €1.8 billion financing to support its acquisition of GN Hearing from GN Store Nord.

The acquisition values GN Hearing at approximately €2.3 billion on a cash and debt-free basis and provides for the payment of approximately €1.69 billion in cash, in addition to the issuance of 56 million Amplifon shares to the seller. The financing is intended to fund the cash component of the transaction and is expected to be subsequently refinanced through a mix of debt and equity and/or equity-linked instruments.
