
White & Case advises Bank Pekao on PLN 750 million subordinated capital bonds issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A. (Bank Pekao) as issuer on its PLN 750 million (approximately €175.5 million) subordinated capital bonds issuance.
The bonds were offered to qualified investors through a non-prospectus public offering and introduced to trading on the Warsaw Stock Exchange’s alternative trading system.
The White & Case advice included approval from the Financial Supervision Authority obtaining approval from the Financial Supervision Authority for the qualification of the bonds as the issuer's Tier II instruments.
The White & Case team in Warsaw which advised on the transaction included partner Grzegorz Abram and local partner Paweł Zagórski.
