Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised CityFibre, the UK's largest independent full fibre platform, and its existing shareholders on its latest capital raise, which included new equity investments from Abu Dhabi's Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), one of the world's leading sovereign investors, and Interogo Holding, a foundation-owned investment group.

"Our relationship with CityFibre has gone from strength-to-strength in recent years following our role advising on the transaction to take CityFibre private in 2018," said White & Case partner Caroline Sherrell, who led the Firm’s deal team. "Advising on this important equity raise is another milestone in our relationship with the company and a significant step in its corporate trajectory."

The financing, which is the largest capital raise ever dedicated to Full Fibre deployment in the UK, will support and accelerate CityFibre’s rollout to a third of the UK market by 2025.

The White & Case team in London which advised on the transaction was led by partner Caroline Sherrell, with support from counsel Laura Fletcher and associates Heidi Blomqvist, Rob Wake-Walker and Josephine Levick.
