White & Case advises the co-investors on C$2.5 billion investment in Air Canada’s Aeroplan

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the co-investors in a Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI) led investor consortium on a C$2.5 billion minority equity investment in Air Canada's Aeroplan, Inc. (Aeroplan), the operator of Canada's leading travel loyalty program. Funds managed by BXCI, together with La Caisse, PSP Investments and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation and other leading institutions, are making the investment in Aeroplan to acquire a 25 percent equity interest, implying a C$10 billion valuation for the program.
The White & Case team was led by partners Andrew Weisberg, Adam Cieply, Todd Wolynski (all in New York) and Nadav Klugman (Chicago).
