Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised EverWind on its US$175 million strategic investment from Nuveen Energy Infrastructure Credit. The transaction represents one of the largest private clean energy investments in Atlantic Canada.

The investment will advance construction of EverWind's 650+ megawatt onshore wind portfolio and support delivery of the Point Tupper Green Fuels Project.

EverWind is a Nova Scotia–based Canadian company developing North America's first large-scale green hydrogen and ammonia production facility, focused on building renewable power projects and green fuels production facilities that create long-term economic benefits for communities and Indigenous partners.

The White & Case team was led by partner Andrew Weisberg and included Debt Finance associate Gabrielle Foster (both in New York). Law clerk Brandon Federici (New York) also advised on the matter.
