White & Case advises Infracapital and InfraVia on sale of TDT container terminal

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Infracapital, the infrastructure equity investment arm of M&G plc, and funds managed by independent French investment company InfraVia Capital Partners (InfraVia), co-shareholders of Gruppo Investimenti Portuali (GIP), on the sale of 100 percent of the share capital in Terminal Darsena Toscana S.r.l. (TDT) to the Grimaldi Group.

The sale also included the minority stake in TDT held by GIP managing director Giulio Schenone through I.L. Investimenti S.r.l.

Established in 1997, TDT manages the main container terminal of the Port of Livorno and became part of the GIP Group in 2012. Infracapital and InfraVia acquired an 80 percent stake in TDT as part of the GIP acquisition in February 2017, and an additional 20 percent stake was acquired in 2018.
