White & Case advises Intesa Sanpaolo on US$3 billion notes issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. on a US$3 billion notes issuance under its recently updated US$50 billion Medium Term Note Programme.

The issuance consists of two tranches: the first US$1.5 billion 7.200% unsubordinated preferred notes due 2033; and the second US$1.5 billion 7.800% unsubordinated preferred notes due 2053. Both tranches were issued pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the US Securities Act.
