White & Case advises Neopharmed Gentili on €890 million high yield senior secured notes issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Neopharmed Gentili S.p.A. (Neopharmed Gentili) on its issuance of €890 million high yield senior secured floating rate notes (FRNs).
The notes have been issued pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the US Securities Act, listed on the Official List of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and admitted to trading on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange's Euro MTF Market.
The proceeds from the offering were used, among other things, to refinance the existing financial indebtedness of Neopharmed Gentili, and to make a distribution to the parent of Neopharmed Gentili to repay a portion of its existing financial indebtedness.
Neopharmed Gentili, a portfolio company of Ardian and Renaissance Partners, is a leading Italian primary care pharmaceutical company and is also active in the European rare disease business.
