White & Case advises Safer Society Group on sale of Griffeye

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Safer Society Group on its sale of Griffeye to Magnet Forensics.

Headquartered in Sweden, the Safer Society Group develops impact technology companies aimed at creating a safer and smarter society through IT solutions. 

Griffeye is a digital investigation platform provider founded in 2015. It has been used by more than 1,000 police agencies around the world for processing, sorting and analysing large volumes of images and videos. 

Backed by US-based private equity investor Thoma Bravo, Magnet Forensics is a global digital investigation software provider recently combined with Grayshift. Following the transaction, Griffeye will be integrated into Magnet Forensics and jointly form a larger group creating and capturing additional opportunities for product development and business growth, while helping investigators around the globe to efficiently solve more cases.
