White & Case Advises TotalEnergies on its Agreement to Acquire Core Solar, LLC

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised leading international multi-energy company TotalEnergies on its agreement to acquire Austin-based Core Solar, LLC, whose portfolio includes more than 4 GWs of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects at various stages of development across several US states and power markets.

The acquisition further expands TotalEnergies' presence in the US renewables market, where it now has a portfolio of more than 10 GWs of gross capacity of renewables projects in operation, in construction and in development.

The White & Case team was led by partners Nandan Nelivigi (New York), and Morgan Hollins and Christopher Richardson (both in Houston).
