Biography

Alex Elser is a market-leading private capital and M&A expert trusted by global financial sponsors, pension funds and other private institutions to successfully lead their most important and complex transactions in the Australian private equity market.

Alex is known for her ability to successfully navigate complex deal dynamics, develop pragmatic strategies and solutions for any obstacles, and maintain momentum. She has an unwavering focus on achieving client outcomes. Alex is trusted by her clients to combine technical expertise with genuine commercial understanding and a real world, solutions-orientated focus.

Alex's practice focus is M&A, in particular, significant and cross-border M&A. Alex also has decades of experience in structuring equity arrangements including joint ventures and co-investments, especially those requiring bespoke solutions.

Alex has a broad range of sector expertise across traditional private equity and infrastructure sectors, with a particular depth of expertise in data centers and healthcare (M&A, regulatory and commercial contracts/advice).
