Biography

Alison Perry is a senior litigation associate in White & Case's Washington, DC, office and a member of the Global Antitrust/Competition Group. Her practice focuses on representing foreign sovereigns, their state-owned entities, multinational corporations, and financial institutions in complex litigation before federal trial and appellate courts. She specializes in cases arising under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, the Anti-Terrorism Act, and the U.S. antitrust laws.

Ms. Perry has substantial appellate experience. She regularly manages appeals from initial briefing through oral argument and has argued before a federal court of appeals. Her experience extends to matters before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Perry's trial-level experience spans the life-cycle of complex litigation — from pleadings and motions practice through fact and expert discovery, including depositions, and summary judgment. She consistently serves as primary author on briefs, including case-dispositive briefing.

Ms. Perry is actively involved in pro bono matters and is a core member of a team litigating a groundbreaking Section 1983 civil rights case.

Ms. Perry received her JD cum laude from NYU School of Law, where she served as a Senior Executive Editor of the Journal of International Law and Politics and was a scholar in the Furman Public Policy Scholarship Program.

From 2021-2022, Ms. Perry served as a law clerk for the Honorable Paul L. Friedman of the US District Court for the District of Columbia and from 2024-2025, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Theodore A. McKee of the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
