Biography
Alissa Arms is a member of White & Case's Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity practice. She advises on all aspects of data protection law and has detailed knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in particular its provisions on automated decision-making. Alissa also has extensive experience advising on new EU regulation in Tech such as the Data Act, the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the AI Act. Her focus lies on digital platforms, in particular in the social media sector, and her practice covers advising on the fast-evolving legal framework vis-à-vis users and public authorities as well as representing clients in high-stakes litigation.
Alissa is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and an Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) as well as a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
