Biography
Overview
Alysha is an associate in White & Case's Project Development and Finance Group in the Firm’s Houston office. Her practice focuses on natural resources and energy matters.
Alysha is experienced in asset and securities-based transactions including drafting and reviewing transaction materials, conducting due diligence and title review, managing transactional closings, and assisting clients with complex regulatory and commercial issues both domestically and internationally.
Alysha is a graduate of the International Energy Lawyers Program, and is admitted to practice law in both Alberta and Texas.
Prior to joining White & Case, Alysha was an associate in the Calgary, Canada office of another global law firm.
Experience
Representation of a syndicate of commercial and institutional lenders, led by Société Générale, in the up to US$1.25 billion financing of the development of the deepwater Shenandoah field in the US Gulf of Mexico and related offshore infrastructure being developed by Beacon Offshore Energy, Navitas Petroleum and Houston Energy Quantum.
Representation of Sixth Street Partners, LLC, a global investment firm, in its US$405 million acquisition of PDP assets from Laredo Petroleum, Inc., a company focused on exploration in the Permian basin.*
Representation of Black Swan Energy, a Calgary-based private energy company, in connection with its joint venture arrangement with AtlasGas Ltd. and certain of its subsidiaries for C$186 million.*
Representation of Mocal Energy Limited in connection with its disposition of a 5 percent interest in the Syncrude Oilsands Project to Suncor Energy Ventures Partnership for a purchase price of C$920 million.*
Representation of various clients with domestic and international oil and gas matters and transactions, including acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, royalty issues, and oil and gas leasing matters.*
