Biography

Amanda is an associate in the Environment and ESG sub-group in London, part of the firm"s global Sustainability and Responsible Business industry group.

She advises clients on identifying and managing ESG-related impacts, risks and opportunities – including in relation to human rights, climate change, and broader sustainability issues – within the context of UK and EU regulatory frameworks and global industry standards.

Amanda has worked on large-scale, cross-border corporate M&A transactions across a range of sectors, including Real Estate, Technology, and Energy. Her experience also includes advising on the application of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and supporting private equity clients on complex and evolving ESG matters.

With a background in asset finance and international development, Amanda brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her work, helping clients address the environmental and social challenges that arise across their operations and value chains.

Experience

Advising an European commodities supplier on the development of its EU Deforestation Regulation compliance strategy.

ESG advisory work for Samsung on its purchase of the entire issued share capital of the FläktGroup, a leading German-based heating, ventilation and air-conditioning company, from European investment firm Triton for €1.5 billion (marking Samsung's biggest acquisition in eight years).

ESG advisory work for a US asset management firm's $6.7 billion investment in a German energy service provider through its global impact investing platform.*

ESG advisory work for a US asset management firm in a global market leader in aftermarket emissions and noise reduction technology for stationary industrial engines through its dedicated climate investing platform.*

Advised a leading Emirati AI company on the development of its sustainability function following a $1.5 billion investment from Microsoft.*

Advised a US asset manager on SFDR-related aspects of its global timberland fund.*
