Biography

Andreas Lischka is a transactional lawyer, advising on the interface between finance and corporate / M&A. His practice focusses on leveraged finance transactions and hyper-growth start-ups. Clients also benefit from his experience with complex financial restructuring and portfolio and public-to-private transactions, specifically in the real estate, automotive and banking sector.

Andreas advises clients on a wide range of debt transactions. This covers acquisition financings, corporate loans, the issuance of high yield notes and structured credit products such as (structured) covered bonds, securitisations and hybrid instruments.

His experience on the interface between finance and M&A / corporate is specifically helpful for his late-stage start-up clients, which he advises on financing rounds, convertible and other hybrid instruments as well as on recurring revenue and other structured financings. It is also a specific strength for advising on public to private transactions since the interaction between M&A and finance is key for such transactions.

Andreas was also involved in numerous large financial restructurings of listed entities, sponsor-backed portfolio companies, as well as growth stage start-ups. Clients benefit from his experience in this regard and his insights in the current trends.

Besides his finance and capital markets work, Andreas also advises on the acquisition and sale of complex portfolios, specifically of real estate and non-performing loans.

Before joining White & Case in 2018, he worked over seven years for leading law firm in its Frankfurt, London and Dusseldorf offices.
