Avery is a corporate law associate in White & Case's Houston office. Her practice broadly advises domestic and international clients on a variety of transactional matters.

Avery graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. During law school, Avery was actively involved in the Health Justice Clinic, served as co-president of the Business Law Society, and held board positions with both the Energy Law Society and the Environmental Law Society. Before attending law school, Avery graduated with high honors from The University of Texas at Austin, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and International Relations & Global Studies.
