Biography

Chisom is an associate in White & Case’s Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance Practice in the Houston Office. Chisom represents clients in complex domestic and cross border financing transactions within the energy sector, including oil gas, power, and solar, as well as tax equity transactions and project development.

Chisom is an active member of the Firm’s Pro Bono practice.

Chisom graduated with her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School where she was actively involved in the Veteran law clinic and Black Law Student Association. Prior to law school, Chisom graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Art in Economics from Texas A&M University.

Experience

Representation of the co-investors in a Blackstone Credit & Insurance led investor consortium on a US$7 billion investment in Sempra Infrastructure Partners' Port Arthur LNG Phase 2. The investment will advance the development, construction and operation of the Port Arthur LNG Phase 2. The new phase will include two natural gas liquefaction trains, one LNG storage tank and associated facilities with a nameplate capacity of approximately 13 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of US-produced LNG to help produce reliable energy to global markets.
