David Makso is a partner in White & Case's Global Tax Practice and is based in the Firm's New York office.

David represents domestic and international clients in a wide range of tax matters, with a focus on fund formation, cross-border transactions, capital markets transactions and complex leveraged finance transactions.

His practice includes the representation of private fund sponsors and investors in all aspects of the tax structuring of private equity, real estate and direct lending. David also has extensive experience advising clients on the tax aspects of debt and equity offerings, international tax planning and corporate, partnership and real estate taxation.

Fluent in three languages, David also has significant experience advising US and international clients, particularly in Latin America, on capital markets transactions, M&A, project finance matters and general inbound and outbound tax structuring.
