David J. Pezza
David Pezza is a Partner in the Global M&A Practice Group and a member of the Real Estate Industry Group, based in the Chicago office. David's practice focuses on sophisticated real estate transactions, including the representation of private and institutional investors, and owners and developers in connection with the acquisition, disposition, development and financing of commercial real estate properties. He has also been involved in the negotiation and structuring of joint-venture agreements with respect to the various transactions he has been involved in.
David's experience includes a wide range of asset types, including mixed use projects, land for development, retail properties, office buildings and hospitality projects.
David is a Certified Public Accountant.
David has had significant experience in: Real Estate Development, Acquisitions and Dispositions, Financing, Leasing, Loan Workouts, Ground Leases, Construction, and Economic incentives.
David is the Chairman of the Catholic Charities Board of Directors for the Diocese of Joliet.

Avon Rubber p.l.c. (LSE: AVON), a leading provider of life critical personal protection systems to military and first responder markets, in its US$130 million acquisition of Team Wendy, LLC, a leading supplier of critical protective systems including helmets and helmet liner and retention systems for military and first responders.
The purchaser/owner of 12 regional shopping centers having a value in excess of US$2 billion in two separate transactions and continuing in the leasing and management of those and additional shopping centers across the United States.
