Overview

Federico Euforbio is an Associate in the International Arbitration Group in Paris. His practice includes investor-state and commercial arbitration across a variety of sectors.

Federico is French qualified and has a background in Italian law. Prior to joining White & Case, Federico trained in international arbitration and commercial litigation in major French and Anglo-American law firms in Paris.

Federico is active in White & Case's pro bono projects focusing on human rights and climate change.

Experience

Representing an energy provider in pending ICC arbitration proceedings related to force majeure events and delays affecting the construction of a power plant in West Africa;

Advised a British manufacturing company in the preparation of legal opinions under international economic law, in relation to possible investor-State Treaty-based claims before arbitral tribunals;

Represented the French subsidiary of a US company in ICC arbitration proceedings relating to the construction of a plant dedicated to the manufacture of aeronautical components in France;

Represented a South Asian private equity fund in a JV dispute in a SIAC arbitration regarding the valuation of its shares in a South-Asian company;

Advised investors in annulment proceedings brought against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela before French courts, in relation to an award rendered under UNCITRAL rules.*

Represented a Spanish contractor in ICC arbitration proceedings relating to the construction and equipping of a plant for enrichment of iron ore magnetite in North Africa.*
