Overview

Hazel Lim is an associate in White & Case's Asia Debt Finance and Restructuring practice, based in Hong Kong.

Hazel advises sponsors, bank lenders and corporate borrowers on a variety of finance transactions, including acquisition and leveraged financings, corporate financings, project financings, trade financings, debt issuances and various loan facilities.

DBS Bank Ltd on a S$200 million (US$146 million) revolving credit facility to Wii Pte. Ltd. (guaranteed by Wilmar International Limited which is listed on the Singapore Exchange) in its transition away from the Singapore dollar Swap Offer Rate. This is Singapore's first transaction pegged to Singapore Overnight Rate Average in the agribusiness sector.*

a syndicate of 22 lenders on a US$455 million revolving facility to the Gunvor Group to support its new activities and existing operations in the Asia Pacific.*

the Hong Kong branch of a French bank on a US$75 million prepayment term facility to a Hong Kong incorporated company for the purpose of purchasing certain commodities produced by a PRC supplier, and to on-sell such commodities to off-takers incorporated in Hong Kong and PRC.*

a syndicate of lenders in a term loan facility of up to S$750 million to a Singapore business trust to finance the acquisition of 100% equity stake in an Australian company in the business of water treatment and chemical distribution in Australia and New Zealand.*

a Cayman hedge fund in a non-recourse margin loan of up to JPY 35 billion secured by shares listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.*

a Singapore investment holding company listed on the SGX and its subsidiaries, in respect of a secured bridging facility of up to the aggregate principal amount of US$275 million, for the acquisition of a Singapore company and 3 Indonesian companies in the business of investment and development of total water solutions.*
