Ivan is a White & Case partner seconded to the Law Firm of AlSalloum and AlToaimi, with which White & Case practices in association. He is a partner in our Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance group and has worked in London, and is now based in our New York office and associated Riyadh office.
Ivan's practice focuses on assisting clients in the energy industry on strategic commercial initiatives, including joint ventures, project developments, acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and restructurings.

Representation of Bayonne Energy Center, a joint venture between Hess Corporation and ArcLight Capital Partners, in connection with the construction, development, operation and project financing of the 512 MW natural gas-fired, simple-cycle power generation facility in Bayonne, New Jersey. This facility will be interconnected via submarine cable to the Gowanus substation in Brooklyn, New York. This deal was selected as "2010 North America Single Asset Power Deal of the Year" by Project Finance magazine and as "2010 Americas Power Deal of the Year" by Project Finance International magazine.
