Luca Bertazzo
Biography
Overview
Luca is a senior associate in the International Trade Practice, focusing on antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings before the US Department of Commerce and US International Trade Commission; and appeals to the US Court of International Trade. His comprehensive and integrated practice involves advising clients through all stages of international trade disputes, and his experience spans multiple industry sectors, including steel, aluminum, agriculture, manufacturing, and industrial chemicals. He is particularly experienced in trade remedy proceedings, offering guidance to clients facing antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, administrative reviews, and changed circumstances reviews. He also advises importers in seeking relief from tariff remedies imposed under Section 232. Additionally, Luca also represents clients in antidumping duty and safeguard investigations in other countries (Mexico, Brazil, the European Union).
Before joining the Washington, D.C. office, Luca worked in the Milan office in the areas of Finance, Capital Markets, and M&A. Luca's experience includes work for issuers in debt and equity securities transactions, including 144A and Regulation S offerings and private placements.
Luca is actively involved in pro bono initiatives at the Firm.
