Michal Křivánek joined the Prague office of White & Case during his studies in 2015 as a legal intern and is a member of the Disputes Practice Group focusing on dispute resolution and regulatory matters.
Michal earned his bachelor's degree in business and law at the University of Economics in Prague, spent over two years studying service management at Copenhagen Business School, one semester at the Rotterdam School of Management and also participated in a summer school program focusing on global business at Aarhus University in Denmark.
Michal previously worked as a legal intern in a Czech law firm where he gained general legal practice experience, particularly in the field of civil and commercial law.
Michal provides legal services primarily in the areas of litigation, insolvency proceedings, competition law and personal data protection. Michal is also involved in pro bono projects, such as providing legal advice to the European Shoah Legacy Institute, an international organization dealing with matters such as the restitution of property of Holocaust victims, or Post Bellum, an organization that identifies and records the memories of witnesses of key moments of the 20th century.
