Biography

Overview

Michal Záthurecký joined White & Case in December 2015. He has a Master's Degree from the Paneuropean University of Bratislava and a Magister Juris degree from the University of Oxford.

During his studies, he participated in various moot arbitration competitions and essay competitions.  He was the editor of a legal journal and served as a law clerk at a well-respected US-based law firm in Bratislava.

Michal also teaches Private International Law at the Faculty of Law of Comenius University, Bratislava.

Experience

Advising P3 Logistic Parks, global investment company TPG Real Estate and developer Ivanhoe Cambridge on the sale of P3 to GIC, a sovereign wealth fund established by the government of Singapore.

Advising P3 Logistic Parks on the Slovak aspects of the EUR 1.4 billion pan-European refinancing of its logistics portfolio.

Advising a major Slovak cosmetics producer regarding the unfair conduct of a competitor, and representing it in court proceedings.
