Prof. Dr. Nils Clemm

Retired Partner of Counsel, Berlin

Biography

Overview

Nils advises major domestic and multinational companies on the full spectrum of issues related to tax law, white collar offences and compliance. Clients benefit from his extensive knowledge and experience in these areas, accumulated over the course of several decades. Nils is particularly skilled in helping companies to deal with issues arising from the criminal behavior of their own staff, including members of management and supervisory boards. Committed to defending his clients' interests, he is able to provide comprehensive advice and representation in the most complex and sensitive of cases. Mindful of the harm white collar offences can do to companies' reputation, Nils is adept at developing strategies to optimize his clients' public image, and to ensure smooth and constructive co-operation with the investigating authorities. Nils is also skilled at managing and implementing the complex array of measures required to address such matters as damage minimization, recovery issues and compliance.
