Biography

Overview

Ryan is an associate in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency group. Ryan's practice focuses primarily on corporate bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters, including the representation of debtors, creditors, and other interested parties in Chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court workouts, cross-border proceedings, and related transactions.

As a law student, Ryan served as an Articles and Notes Editor of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review and an intern to the Honorable Joanna Seybert, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York. Ryan was also awarded the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal for Excellence in Bankruptcy Studies, given annually to top law students from across the United States who demonstrate excellence in bankruptcy coursework and scholarship.

Prior to joining White & Case, Ryan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alan S. Trust, Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of New York.
