Tomáš Jíně is distinguished in the CEE market as one of the few attorneys with partner-level experience and expertise in handling leveraged finance and restructuring matters under both English and Czech law. Experience

Representing global investor PPF Group on the financing of its acquisition of Telenor's telecommunications assets in Central & Eastern Europe for €2.8 billion on an enterprise value basis.

Representing arrangers of a USD 820 million financing for Eurochem, the leading global producer of fertilizers.

Representing Credit Suisse on the financing of a fully funded bid for the acquisition of Zentiva from Sanofi in the auction that resulted in the transaction value of €1.9 billion. 

Representing senior creditors of Agrokor in the restructuring of its €6 billion indebtedness through extraordinary administration proceedings.

Representing PPF in connection with the financing of its fully funded bid for the assets and business in Central and Eastern Europe (particularly in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Romania) owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV. The auction resulted in the transaction value of €7.3 bln.

Representing lenders to Rockaway Capital on the €265 million financing of the acquisition of the leading e-shop in the Czech Republic, Mall.cz, and the largest price comparison website, Heureka.cz, from Naspers, the South African-based internet services provider with a particular focus on ecommerce.

Representing the coordinators of the CZK 32 billion (circa €1.2 billion) financing of Česká telekomunikační infrastruktura, a.s., the operator of the largest data and communications network in the Czech Republic. This was the largest financing transaction in 2015 in the Czech Republic.

Representing the coordinators of the financing of the acquisition of Telefonica Czech Republic, the leading mobile, fixed-line and IPTV operator in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, by PPF Group, with total financing amounting to EUR 2.288 billion, through the first public acquisition of its kind in the Czech Republic.

Representing VTB in connection with a debt restructuring, recapitalization and acquisition of Bulgarian Telecommunications Company AD and certain of its affiliates through schemes of arrangement under Part 26 of the Companies Act 2006.
