Recently, the incumbent energy companies in The Czech Republic have been re-evaluating their business models and undergoing transformations with the goal of tapping into new sources of revenue including energy efficiency, smart metering, and provision of financial, insurance and consulting services to consumers in order to protect against electricity price volatility and adjust to ever increasing regulatory requirements.
