White & Case celebrates 35 years of supporting clients in Nigeria with a reception in Lagos
White & Case hosted a large client reception in Lagos, at the new, exclusive Capital Club.
The reception was attended by an influential group of more than 170 people from across the Nigerian business community and legal industries celebrated 35 years of supporting clients in Nigeria.
As part of the celebration, in collaboration with Standard Charted Bank, White & Case also hosted an oil & gas workshop for select participants in the sector with sessions on project finance and international arbitration.
Speaking during the workshop in Lagos, London-based White & Case partner Jason Kerr said "White & Case has been advising on Nigeria-related transactions for 35 years. Our workshop was a good way to mark the Firm's sustained presence in Nigeria."
"We have built many friends over the years in Nigeria and we wanted to bring them together to celebrate these 35 years," said Kerr. "We have had a series of events over the last several days culminating in this workshop, which is a knowledge transfer exercise.
We are just here to say thank you to our clients for the support they have shown us over the years."
