White & Case LLP partner Di Yu has been named to The Lawyer's "Hot 100" list for 2026, which recognizes UK-based legal professionals who exemplify "excellence" in their field and whose work is making a significant impact today.
Yu, a partner in the Firm's Corporate M&A practice, was recognized for her leadership on several significant, high-profile transactions, including advising Deliveroo on its £2.9 billion sale to DoorDash, one of the most impactful UK public M&A deals in 2025. "I'm delighted to be included in The Lawyer's Hot 100," said Yu. "It's a privilege to work with clients on complex and strategically important matters. I'm grateful for the trust they place in us and for the support of my colleagues at White & Case."
Alan Burke, Co-Head of the Firm's EMEA Corporate M&A practice, said: "Di's inclusion in The Lawyer's Hot 100 is well deserved. She combines exceptional technical skill, commercial judgement and steady leadership to deliver outstanding results for clients on their most complex, high-stakes matters, as exemplified by her work on the Deliveroo and DoorDash transaction."
