Biography

Overview

Di Yu is a partner in our global M&A and Corporate practice, based in London.

Di has extensive experience advising corporates and financial sponsors on a wide range of corporate and M&A transactions, including public and private M&A, joint ventures, complex corporate reorganisations, primary and secondary raisings and general corporate advisory matters.

Clients value Di for her commerciality and creative problem-solving skills, as well as her track record in navigating high-profile, complex transactions on a strategic and tactical level.  Di has particular experience advising on transactions involving challenging regulatory, governmental and PR angles.

Di has particular expertise in the technology, media and entertainment, financial institutions, consumer retail, infrastructure and energy transition sectors.

Di also advises clients on AI-related issues and is a member of White & Case’s AI Taskforce.  Di has a particular interest in governance issues arising from the use of AI and how opportunities for use of AI can be maximized for clients in the sectors that she covers.
