White & Case wins four “Deals of the Year” at IFN Awards 2025

Global law firm White & Case LLP has won four "Deal of the Year" awards at the latest IFN Awards, which honor "the best of the best in the Islamic finance realm." The awards recognize the Firm's work on significant M&A, sukuk and structured finance transactions across the Middle East.

The winning deals are:

  • IFN M&A Deal of the Year: Dallah Healthcare's SAR671 million acquisition of Al-Ahsa and Al-Salam hospital operators

    White & Case advised Dallah Healthcare on its SAR671 million (US$179 million) acquisition of Al-Salam Medical Services Company and Al-Ahsa Medical Services Company, which own Al-Salam and Al-Ahsa hospitals in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. The deal expands Dallah Healthcare's hospital network and advances its growth strategy.

  • IFN Qatar Deal of the Year: Qatar's US$3 billion sukuk

    White & Case advised on Qatar's landmark US$3 billion sukuk issuance, marking the country's return to the international sukuk market after 13 years. The offering was more than four times oversubscribed, attracting over US$12 billion in global investor demand, and achieved the lowest borrowing premium recorded for an international sukuk issuance.

  • IFN Structured Finance Deal of the Year: Saudi Real Estate Refinance Company's SAR356 million residential-backed mortgage securities

    White & Case advised Saudi Real Estate Refinance Company, a Public Investment Fund subsidiary, on Saudi Arabia's first-ever residential mortgage-backed securities issuance. The landmark transaction supports the development of the Kingdom's housing finance market and advances Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

  • IFN Sukuk Deal of the Year: Tabreed's US$700 million green sukuk

    White & Case advised the arrangers and dealers on the establishment of Tabreed Sukuk Programme Limited's inaugural US$1.5 billion trust certificate issuance program and the issuance of US$700 million green certificates by National Central Cooling Company PJSC, also known as Tabreed. The certificates are listed on the London Stock Exchange's International Securities Market.
