Blackstone on US$4 Billion Nordic Real Estate Acquisition
Blackstone Group in its €1.7 billion recommended public tender offer for Sponda Plc, a Finland based property investment company specialising in commercial properties in the largest cities in Finland with shares listed on Nasdaq Helsinki. This transaction is the largest ever M&A transaction in the Finnish real estate sector and expected to close by the end of July.

J.P. Morgan - as financier to Lone Star for its acquisition of Propertize
J.P. Morgan Securities plc as financier to Lone Star for its acquisition of Dutch nationalised and state-owned real estate bank Propertize from the State of the Netherlands, and the direct acquisition by J.P. Morgan Securities plc of certain loan assets from Propertize. Lone Star has paid €895.3 million for the shares in Propertize, and is also repaying all the outstanding debt of Propertize for an additional €2.35 billion.

Oaktree Capital Management on JV with Deutsche Bank
Oaktree Capital Management, the US-based private equity firm, in relation to its joint venture and financing of a portfolio of Spanish non-performing loans valued at €900 million from Ibercaja Banco, S.A.U.titled Project Goya. This deal marks Oaktree's first 50:50 joint venture in relation to the acquisition of non-performing loan portfolios. It is the latest in a sequence of transactions in which White & Case has advised real estate private investment funds.
