Victoria Landsbert is a partner in the Firm's London office, combining significant experience in both commercial real estate finance and commercial real estate transactions.
Victoria has worked on both "loan on asset" and "loan on loan" real estate financings, with a particular emphasis in the non-performing and re-performing loan sector. She has acted for both banks and private equity funds on both the lender and sponsor side, and has been involved with many European NPL and re-performing loan portfolios in the last 2 years, including in respect of assets located in Ireland, the UK, France, Spain, Italy and the Nordics.
Victoria acts for real estate companies, private equity funds, banks and pharmaceutical companies in relation to a broad spectrum of asset classes. This includes the retail, hospitality, data centre, office and industrial sectors. Her work includes acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, leasing of all types (acting for landlords, tenants and lenders) and the real estate aspects of corporate transactions.
Victoria joined White & Case in February 2003.
Acting for a large bank in respect of its provision of loan on loan financing to a major US private equity fund, secured against real estate assets located in Western Europe.
Acting for a large financial institution in relation to the loan on loan financing of a funds-backed JV, secured against real estate assets located predominantly in the UK and Ireland.
Representing a major US private equity fund in respect of its acquisition of a very large non-performing loan portfolio, secured against real estate assets located in Western Europe and the Nordics.
Advising a major US private equity fund in respect of its bid for three very sizable non-performing loan portfolios, secured against real estate assets located predominantly in Ireland.
Advising in respect of real estate finance provision to a market-leading alternative asset manager, secured against real estate assets located in Spain and Portugal.
Acting for a major Middle Eastern Bank in respect of multiple UK hotel development financings.
Acting for a large US private equity fund in respect of its investment into a portfolio of Italian hotels.
Advising Zolfo Cooper LLP, administrators to the Peverel Group (being the residential real estate management business formerly owned by Vincent Tchenguiz's Euro Investments Overseas Group) on the significant restructuring of the Peverel Group, and its subsequent disposal to a private equity joint venture for £62 million.
Acting for KPMG, administrators to Powerfuel Plc, on the disposal of the business and assets of Hatfield Colliery, Doncaster.
Representing ING Bank NV in relation to the disposal of distressed real estate assets.
