The Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (F.A.Z) reports that Dr. Marco Buschmann, former Federal Minister of Justice, will join the global law firm White & Case as counsel in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice in Berlin on February 1, 2026. After holding key positions in German politics, including as First Parliamentary Secretary of the FDP parliamentary group and as Federal Minister of Justice, Dr. Buschmann returns to the firm where he began his legal career in 2007.
Karsten Wöckener, Head of Germany at White & Case, told F.A.Z: "We are very delighted to welcome Dr. Marco Buschmann back to our team. His legal expertise and understanding of political contexts are a valuable asset to our team."
