Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Tax Practice, Global Financial Institutions Industry Group and Global Private Capital Industry Group with the addition of Cyril Valentin as a partner and who will lead the tax practice in Paris.

Recognized as one of the most prominent tax lawyers in France, Cyril advises a range of international and domestic corporates, financial institutions and investment funds on the tax-related aspects of cross-border and domestic public and private mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, leveraged buy-outs, financings, debt restructurings and real estate transactions. He also has extensive tax litigation experience in the French tax courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Cyril joins White & Case from Freshfields, where he was a partner and head of tax in France, and brings more than 25 years of experience.
