White & Case advises Aura Minerals on US$200 million syndicated loan facility

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Aura Minerals Inc., as borrower, on its US$200 million unsecured syndicated loan facility.

Aura intends to use the net proceeds to finance payments to suppliers, as well as to finance the prepayment of its costs of producing and selling goods. Citibank Global Markets Inc. and Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira S.A. acted as joint lead arrangers and bookrunners.

Aura is a company focused on the development and operation of gold and base metal projects in the Americas. Aura's six operating assets include Minosa gold Mine in Honduras; Almas, Apoena, Borborema and MSG gold mines in Brazil; and Aranzazu, a copper, gold and silver mine in Mexico. Aura also owns additional projects in Guatemala, Colombia and Brazil.
