Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised a syndicate of leading financial institutions on an offering by Burford Capital Global Finance LLC, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Burford Capital Limited (NYSE: BUR) (LSE: BUR), of US$500 million aggregate principal amount of 8.50% senior notes due 2034.
Burford intends to use the proceeds from the offering to redeem its 5.000% senior notes due 2026 and the remainder for general corporate purposes, which may include the potential repayment or retirement of other existing indebtedness.
