White & Case advises EnBW on €1 billion bonds issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised EnBW group on the issuance of notes with a principal amount of €1 billion.

The bonds have been issued in two tranches and are guaranteed by EnBW Baden-Württemberg AG. The first tranche has a principal amount of €500 million, a four-year term and a fixed coupon of 3.625%. The second tranche has a principal amount of €500 million, a seven-year term and a fixed coupon of 4.049%.

The EnBW group intends to use an amount equivalent to the net proceeds of the Notes to finance Eligible Green Projects in accordance with its Green Financing Framework. The notes were admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

The White & Case team in Frankfurt that advised on the transaction was led by partner Karsten Wöckener and included associate Daniel Gillenkirch.
