White & Case advises Enel on US$4.5 billion Yankee bond issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the joint bookrunners on Enel's new US$4.5 billion Yankee bond issuance, pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S of the US Securities Act.

The issuance, guaranteed by Enel S.p.A. and issued by Enel Finance International NV,  consists of four tranches: US$1 billion 4.125% notes due 2028, US$1.25 billion 4.375% notes due 2030, US$1.25 billion 5.000% notes due 2035 and US$1 billion 5.750% notes due 2055.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partners Michael Immordino (London & Milan), Richard Pogrel (London) and local partner Pietro Magnaghi (Milan), and included associate Pietro Bancalari (Milan) and lawyers Stefano Cultrera and Leonardo Rubera (both Milan), along with partner Chad McCormick (Houston) who advised on US tax matters.
