Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Jefferies as global coordinator and joint bookrunner, and RBC Capital Markets as joint bookrunner, on an equity placing by Oxford Biomedica plc (OXB).

The placing represented 13.1 percent of OXB’s issued share capital and was made to new and existing institutional investors. OXB intends to use the net proceeds to, among other things, fund strategic investments in expanding its global contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) network, particularly in the US.

OXB is a global CDMO in cell and gene therapy listed on the London Stock Exchange.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Jonathan Parry (London) and included partner Laura Sizemore (London), counsel Bob Lehner (Chicago) and associate George Davie (London).
