White & Case advises PKO Bank Hipoteczny on PLN 1 billion mortgage covered bonds issuance for retail investors

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised PKO Bank Hipoteczny S.A. (PKO Bank Hipoteczny) on its PLN 1 billion issuance of mortgage covered bonds, maturing on 30 April 2030.

This is the second issuance of mortgage covered bonds by PKO Bank Hipoteczny addressed to retail investors under its PLN 10 billion national Mortgage Covered Bond Issuance Programme.

The covered bonds are listed on Catalyst, the parallel regulated market operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski S.A. Branch – Brokerage Office in Warsaw acted as the investment firm in the offering.

White & Case previously advised PKO Bank Hipoteczny in 2025 on the establishment of the national Mortgage Covered Bond Issuance Programme, and on the first issuance of mortgage covered bonds to retail investors.

PKO Bank Hipoteczny remains the only bank in Poland that offers mortgage covered bonds to retail investors.
