White & Case advises Racing Club de Lens and Joseph Oughourlian on changes to shareholding structure

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Racing Club de Lens and the club's majority shareholder, Joseph Oughourlian, on the entry of Entrepreneur Equity Partners (EPP) and Jean-Paul Lempereur, through a personal investment holding company, into the share capital of Racing Club de Lens.
Mr. Joseph Oughourlian remains the majority shareholder, with a 69.10 percent stake.
Entrepreneur Equity Partners, an investment fund specialising in the development of sports infrastructure, is acquiring a 13.93 percent stake in Racing Club de Lens. The entirety of this capital investment will be dedicated to the infrastructure development projects planned around Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
Jean-Paul Lempereur, the founder of Groupe Lempereur, a long-standing partner of Racing Club de Lens and a member of its board since 2025, is acquiring a 2.79 percent stake in the club.
Already shareholders in Racing Club de Lens alongside Joseph Oughourlian, Side Invest and Seko Fofana remain committed shareholders in the club, with respective stakes of 13.56 percent and 0.62 percent.
In line with these changes to the club's ownership structure, Entrepreneur Equity Partners will also be represented on the board by Tim Leiweke. Keegan McDonald will serve as board observer.
